£80,000 – £100,000 Base + Uncapped Commission | National
We are working exclusively on a retained assignment for a well-established security and resilience provider supporting tier 1 operators and complex UK environments.
This is a senior Business Development Manager opportunity within the security sector for a business that has traditionally operated as a labour provider in manned guarding, and proud to be a resilience partner delivering higher-quality, compliance-driven solutions to blue-chip and tier 1 clients.
The organisation is strongly positioned within security, manned guarding, and wider resilience services, with a clear strategic focus on moving away from purely transactional labour supply models and toward long-term, direct client relationships.
A key strength of the business is its senior operational and compliance leadership team, ensuring all delivery across security and manned guarding services is fully aligned to ACS and COP 119 standards. The culture is built around quality, transparency, and operational integrity across every security contract delivered.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact sales and business development role focused on driving growth across manned guarding and wider security services.
You will take full ownership of new business generation, including:
Driving sales activity and winning new security contracts
Building and developing a strong pipeline across manned guarding opportunities
Expanding direct client relationships within the security and manned guarding sector
Delivering consistent business development success across competitive security markets
Working closely with senior leadership to shape sales strategy and commercial direction
This is a high-autonomy role where you will be expected to operate independently, build your own pipeline, and convert opportunities without heavy structure or micromanagement.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in business development within security or manned guarding
Strong track record of sales success and winning new contracts in the security sector
Ability to generate, manage, and convert a structured sales pipeline
Experience engaging with complex clients or multi-site manned guarding environments (desirable)
Strong consultative sales approach with excellent relationship-building skills
Commercially strong business development professional with a proactive mindset
Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, low-bureaucracy security business
Demonstrable success in sales and business development within manned guarding or wider security services
The Package
£80,000 – £100,000 base salary
Uncapped commission linked to sales and business development performance
