Job Description
A national leading provider of outsourced FM + Security services are looking for a strong sales
professional to add to their experienced and successful sales and marketing team to be responsible
for the development of new prospects for their manned guarding and events security division.
You will be mainly building relationships with South East based Corporate and City of London clients
developing relationships to ensure that you are best placed to take advantage of any tender/new
business opportunities. Typical clients will include Estate Managers, Financial Institutions,
Investment Banks, Data Centres, Media Houses and large City employers.
This will be achieved by a mixture of
presenting new solutions and services to existing clients
maintaining a prospect list of clients and decision makers to ensure a steady flow of
opportunities and deals- (meetings, social occasions)
researching and developing relationships with prospective clients
developing and presenting effective tenders and bids
networking- to ensure an in depth knowledge of the market- this will include industry
functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and
information on market and creative trends.
You will be given time to develop the above and will be managed by results as opposed to kpis- you
will be judged in the short term on passion and energy brought to the role and what opportunities
are being identified as prospects

This is not a deal a minute environment- relationships are built via reputation and a
consultative approach so an ability to plan pipeline and the long run are essential
You will be confident in your sales and presentation abilities- a large part of the role will be
presenting to clients at a senior level
You should be commercially aware enough to quickly become an expert in the manned
guarding and security sector
Along with the ability to identify, develop and present for business you will also be able to
close effectively.
You will come from a B2B sales background with a hunger and desire to succeed. Your
approach must be professional and consultative. Previous sector experience is not
necessary but any experience selling to a similar client base will be of interest.
