Job Description

A national market leader in the provision of security and property management services are looking for a Security Systems Sales Professional to take advantage of a national existing client base and develop opportunities with new clients. The role is a national blank canvass (no restrictions) type opportunity but will be based out of London.

What are they asking for?

You will be confident in taking responsibility for all security systems new business sales activities, from lead generation, tender presentation, through to contract closure.  Therefore, you will be able to point to a successful track record in selling systems.  An entrepreneuriall flair will help to develop and maximize business sales. Developing relationships externally and internally will come naturally as it will be essential t work with other sales teams and operations for the delivery of margin.

A driven sales professional is required with a proven track record of building a strong sales networks across business-critical accounts. You will have a strong level of experience selling products or solutions within the Security industry (i.e. CCTV; Access Controls etc.). This role will involve travel throughout the UK, and therefore so a driver’s is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing new clients and execute strategy

  • Generate growth by keen networking and cold calling to identified clients

  • Working with Telesales campaigns to Optimise growth

  • Lead and/or support in the negotiation or re-negotiation of all sales opportunities, working collaboratively with the Bid Team and Finance and within central bid guidelines

  • Retain strong understanding of current operation, competitor position and market trends

  • Attend relevant trade events and actively pursue networking opportunities within the sector

  • Develop and convert a sales pipeline that ensures personal OM sales targets are
