Job Description

A rare opportunity is available for a Commercial Manager to join our client who are national leader in the provision of security services within the UK   

This is an exciting new role that will suit a dynamic and energetic individual who works well to deadlines with a proven background working in high-volume environments.

The Commercial Manager will be required to work closely with Operations Directors and Business Development Director as part of the Senior Management team making strategic decisions on the direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

•       Identification of targeted commercial improvement opportunities and assist in development of improvement initiatives

•       Identification of commercial risks and supporting Operations Directors with improvement plans

•       Support and drive the resolution of any commercial problems at Operational and Client level working in conjunction with Operations Directors offering direction and advice

•       Reviewing, scrutinizing, and assisting in writing/preparing commercial improvement plans 

•       Ensuring that the commercial/financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties, including pricing, profit targets and planned contractual spend obligations

•      Preparation of commercial risk assessments

•      Ensuring that all stakeholders in Operations and Sales adhere to group procedures and collaborate with Operations for all contract rebids, renewals and price increases

•       Design and monitoring of control procedures related to commercial performance 

•       Providing executive support to the Managing Director on the commercial performance of each division within the Business Unit

•       Provide commercial support to the Business Development activities  

The ideal candidate is required to have the following key skllis/abilities

•       Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial/financial management role

•       Excellent understanding of the costing models used in the facilities industry

•       Proven track record in working with multi-disciplinary teams is essential

•       A successful track record of operating at a senior level

•       Strong analytical skills

•       Strong Excel skills

•       Full UK Driving Licence
