Job Description

An SIA, ACS approved provider of manned guarding services is looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team and work within their Manned Guarding Division.  This role would suit an experience Contracts Manager or a supervisor with a solid career.  This role will be initially managing operations along the Amersham, Brackley, Coventry corridor with a future remit to include other areas of the South East.

Reporting into the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of security therefore, strong people management skills, a pragmatic approach and exceptional client focus is essential, as is the ability to work without supervision. You will be expected to add value to business activity by developing and continuing to enhance operational security processes and all stakeholder relationships.

An SIA and a driver’s licence are a given - if you have any experience of greenfield sites or rail contracts- that would be an advantage. Ideally you will live on patch or a commutable distance from the Amersham, Brackley, Coventry corridor.

Responsibilities will include:

  • You will be focused on managing and developing the security client relationship, security officer welfare, and supplier performance driving continuous improvement, value for money and ultimately customer satisfaction

  • Provide effective leadership to the security guarding team, actively managing and engaging with all personnel within this remit

  • Effective and sufficient allocation and deployment of resource.

  • Identification of training needs and ensure delivery of appropriate training for the physical security team.

  • Development, review and maintenance of relevant documentation to ensure business and industry governance compliance.

  • To take ownership for supporting compliance management, ensuring company documentation, processes and procedures adhere to accreditation standards.

  • Manage the audit process for a variety of accreditation bodies, with the support of the compliance team and the wider management team.

  • Facilitate, support and lead security projects, improvements and developments, drawing on relevant company support as required.
