We are seeking an experienced commercially biased Financial Controller to work for a Security Organisation in North West London that has been operating for over 40 years, providing tailored manned guarding services to organisations within London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will be the Executive Head of Finance, working as part of the company's senior management team, supporting the company on all things financial.

In particular, he or she will manage both the Finance function and the team, with responsibility for:

• Monthly Management Accounts,
• External and Statutory Reporting,
• Payroll (Head-office and Guarding)
• Weekly Sales invoicing, Credit Control and Purchase Ledger.

In addition, the successful applicant will also assist the Managing Director with:

• Contract and Project Control;
• Providing support on individual New Business Pitches; and
• Overseeing contract profitability, costing and analysis.

DUTIES:

• Management of Finance Team, (Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Nominal Ledger Reconciliations)
• Production of Monthly Management Accounts Pack adhering to current company profits
• Preparation of Annual Budgets
• Management of Cash-flow- management of banking system
• Other Statutory Reporting; VAT, National Statistics etc
• Management of Payroll function in conjunction with the HR department
• Providing financial support for the Tendering / Bid process.
• To review and existing Contracts to reflect new price fluctuations before renewals take place
• Contract Control- management of Contract Summary Spreadsheet flagging renewal dates, key terms etc
• Management of Revenue- overseeing Monthly/Quarterly invoicing and preparation of Revenue Forecasting
• Management and Control of other Adhoc Projects (Cap-ex etc)
• Overhead /Supplier Control including purchase analyses; initially contract related
• Other Adhoc tasks for Managing Director/Finance Director
