The Vacancy:

One of the UK’s leading suppliers of facilities and security solutions across the public and private sectors now have an opportunity for an experienced Front of House Team Leader to join their team. Your primary function will be to deliver exceptional service and assist with leading the front of house team as part of the building security solution in their trendy, recently refurbished Multi-Tenanted offices in Central London.

What are they asking for?

Your experience as a Front of House Team Leader does not necessarily have point to a career working within the Security Industry - although possession of a valid SIA license would be advantageous - a Hotel / Hospitality background will also be considered as would a background in customer services as this will play a large part of your role. As a Front of House Team Leader, it will be your job to assist with instilling the highest level of service to your team, establishing and maintaining standards, conducting training where necessary and with continual, individual reviews. Working with the security teams on all security related systems located on site, you will conduct supporting patrols ensuring that the sites security needs and responsibilities are met, responding to any request for assistance and where possible, supporting all services on site, responding to the client’s needs whilst maintaining the highest standard of security on site.

As a Front of House Team Leader, it will be your job to manage a small team (approx. 8 strong) as well as the security, safety and welfare of the Sites building, Staff and visitors. Your primary role is to make sure all staff and visitors entering the building show their ID when entering. Also, to greet all persons entering the building and assist visitors to the reception area to book in. You will ensure all security measures are adhered to at all times and have a good working relationship with the reception team.

What are they offering?

  • 60 Hours per week Mon - Fri 6am – 6pm

  • Salary £12.50 per hour

  • Establishing the highest standard of customer service for the team to follow, ensuring these standards have tangible measures and are reviewed daily.

  • Deliver training to the teams with the support of the central training function both for new joiners and ongoing refresher training to ensure the highest level of service is achieved always.

  • To lead and motivate the team to ensure engagement is high and the team feel valued.

  • To maintain training and individual records of all staff you are responsible for.

  • Undertake any other duties that are reasonable and necessary to ensure the smooth running of the Site.

  • The post holder must be in possession of a valid SIA license and have a thorough knowledge of the Data Protection Act 1998 and related legislation.

  • The FOH Manager must have and continue to demonstrate the ability to organise, prioritise and produce results under pressure and be able to work within the One team ethos.

  • To fully implement any client threat escalation procedures on becoming aware of any matter that may threaten the security and or safety of the estate, assets and people with legitimate business on the site.

  • Abide by the rules concerning confidentiality at all times, reporting any suspected breaches

  • Self-learn and maintain knowledge of current threat levels and new legislation in relation to the role.
