 The Vacancy

We are partnering with a national leader in the provision of soft services and other outsourced services to the hospitality and construction industries. Due to recent investment a new position has arisen for a Business Development Manager to take on the responsibility for the selling of Hotel Cleaning/Housekeeping services of the business. Reporting directly to the Manager Director, you will be responsible for sourcing, developing and managing new business on a national basis.

 

 

What are they asking for?

The role would suit a highly driven, passionate, self-motivated, strong sales focused individual, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets in this sector. Therefore, experience of selling outsourced housekeeping is essential and proven sales within outsourced house keeping a must. You will be comfortable winning business of £100K+ You will be able to speak to Hotel General Managers, Procurement Managers and other decision makers about your services and the resulting possible TUPE. Therefore, any previous relationships you have developed in this industry will be advantageous.

Salary to £40K + car allowance + laptop + phone

Responsibilities will include:

 

  1. Selling Out sourced hotel housekeeping services
  2. New Business and Account Management
  3. Working to targets: e.g. 5 sales appointments per week
  4. Weekly meetings with converted business – building relationships
  5. Developing industry knowledge: who are the destination clients and who is using your competition?
  6. Ensuring a good relationship with internal teams e.g. Ops.
