Job Description

We are pleased to be partnering with our commercial and specialised services client with their search for a HR Assistant due to exponential growth and a promotion.  Our client operates in a fast paced and busy environment and are seeking an experienced HR Assistant who will be responsible for employees across the London and South East region.

The HR Assistant will provide a professional HR & Employee Relations support service to the business to ensure corporate and regulatory compliance. You will be actively involved in exciting HR issues such as ER and TUPE which will enable you to advance your existing HR skills and provide great development for your future HR career.

What are they looking for?

You will already be working in a HR function and enjoy a fast paced team environment.  Confident in your communication and writing skills you will have a HR degree/be working towards professional qualification or have a proven desire to do so. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of prioritising work to meet tight and overlapping deadlines


Typical duties?

To assist with permanent staff recruitment
Support with providing best practice advice to all line managers on Employee Relations issues, including Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence Management, Performance Management, Redundancies and Changes to T&Cs
To review and/or draft ER letters
To assist managers prepare for ER meetings and ensure correct procedure and record taking
Monitor and administer TUPE transfers
To assist HR department with training initiatives
