Security Manager (Integrated services)

The on-site security manager oversees approximately 20 security personnel as well as some cleaning team management.
Job role:
To manage and develop an Account within agreed financial parameters, operating procedures and all legislative requirements. Maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction is a fundamental requirement of the role alongside developing relationships at every level of the customer’s organisation. In tandem with this, staff development and the introduction of innovative ways of working is essential.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Security industry.
Banking / Professional Services Sector experience essential.
Ability to operate at a senior level and demonstrating credibility within customer organisations is a must.
Proven experience of Project Management of client sub-contractors ideally within Access Control (CCure) but not essential.
Strong security tech knowledge
A Front Line SIA licence is required.
Skills:
Commercial and financial awareness in a client environment

PC literate – understanding of how to use the technology as a tool

Business Management:
To control the proper financial and commercial management of the account.
To maintain an Account Development Plan in conjunction with the Account Manager.
Evaluate proposed and required changes to services identifying financial, personnel and operational performance implications.
Implement and evaluate service changes and manage the change process as appropriate.
Ensure the required work, standards and financial targets are achieved in all services
Implement the ISO Quality Management System ensuring Service Excellence is maintained
Ensure appropriate wage administration processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Proactively maintain Campus AI’s and SOP’s to ensure they are fit for purpose
Client Relationship:
Develop and maintain an effective relationship framework from Security Officer to Managing Director.
Promote possible increased service scope on site
Promote quality client communications
Provide proactive feedback to client in areas of cost control, work scope, innovative improvements and additional services
Ensure client issues are dealt with effectively at the appropriate level
Check that all quality matters are being treated in a timely and professional manner as required
Attend client meetings, establish thorough knowledge of site operations, encourage active improvements & provide feedback to clients
Employee Engagement:
Ensure appropriate procedures are in place to identify the development needs of team through observation and appraisals ensuring these are met through appropriate training and development activities.
Team building by active participation and encouragement of staff input
Ensure appropriate procedures are in place and are followed for the recruitment and selection of staff
Identify and monitor training requirements of supervisors and staff
In conjunction with the Human Resource Department manage all disciplinary matters and Industrial Relations issues
Health Safety and Environment:
Establish and maintain safe systems of work
Establish and maintain a reporting procedure for accidents and near misses
Maintain a communication network to raise Health & Safety issues
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks are documented and communicated effectively
Develop a safety culture within the account to establish a secure and safe environment
Conduct ISO audits across sites
Prepare documentation for power downs and fire drills.
