A national FM provider are seeking a Senior Bid Manager will own and co-ordinate the bid process from expression of interest and bid qualification through to bid outcome. The Senior Bid Manager will be responsible for assembling a bid team with the relevant client / service / product / business knowledge required to win the opportunity. This is a networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. They will also be responsible for the management, mentoring and coaching of Bid Managers within the team, working to drive continuous improvement in bid quality.
You will be encouraged to develop technically and professionally including funding and time allowed for APMP qualifications.

What are they asking for?
You will be an experienced bid manager or writer have experience of bid management or bid writing in a Hard FM or related environment. The ideal candidate for this position will contribute by bringing tender structure and organisation and will enjoy working alongside a friendly and supportive team of professionals.
This role requires a collaborative approach, meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisation, communication and writing skills combined with an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. You will have previous experience of managing tenders from cradle to the deal along with strong communication skills- this role could involve client meetings and site visits.
You will have team management experience or the ability to manage and in interview you will demonstrate sound commercial analytical skills and an ability to communicate and influence stakeholders up to senior level (essential).
APMP qualifications would be desirable but time and funding will be given for study.
Provide team leadership and oversight for Bid Managers within the Specialist Bids function.
Work closely and collaboratively with all bid stakeholders, and primarily the Solutions Director and wider sales team, to ensure that the bid is a compelling high-quality submission capable of winning
Lead the bid team in the implementation of all necessary bid procedures and processes and ensure they follow appropriate governance.
Lead the team in analysing bid documents and requirements to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to the client’s issues and needs throughout the bidding process.
Develop and own the Bid Management Plan including deliverables, owners, and completion dates to ensure a high-quality bid is delivered on time and to the client’s requirements. Regularly review and update providing reports on progress and issues as required.
