Our client is a market leader in the provision of security and maintenance services to the vacant property and construction market. They are now seeking an experienced strategic Sales professional to develop relationships and win national opportunities within the public and private sector with the main focus on : Facilities Management, Managing Agents, Insolvency Practitioners, Construction and Retail & Leisure
You will be responsible for the identification and development of new strategic business on a national level developing relationships, winning framework agreements, PSLs etc by presenting, promoting and selling the full range of services to new or lapsed customers.
Reporting to the Sales Director you will join an experienced sales team and will be supported by a strong bid and marketing division whilst working with a customer centric Operations team. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be able to take advantage of their own existing contact relationships so experience of developing business opportunities in at least 1 of the following markets will be required: Facilities Management, Managing Agents, Insolvency Practitioners, Construction and Retail & Leisure

What are they asking for?
The ideal candidates will be both a proactive and credible sales professional. You have experience of selling sophisticated business to business services e.g. vacant property, security + security systems, glazing, Facilities Management or cleaning to large organisations.
You will have the ability to quickly understand the services used in the void property management sector. It goes without saying that you will have great presentation skills and be a highly credible communicator at a senior level. At interview you will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, including effective negotiating and closing skills. You will have a strategic approach with experience of mapping and targeting a prospective market/vertical. You will be confident in dealing with senior decision makers such as “Head of Supply Chain” or “Group Procurement Director” in the above sectors.
Experience of any of the following sectors would be advantageous: Void Property, Property Management, Housing, Construction, Security, Facilities Management + Public Sector, Manned Guarding, CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Fencing
Experience in penetrating multiple levels of decision maker and building firm contract relationships prior to formal tender processes being commenced
