Job description

We are delighted to be working with our client, an international FM services provider who are hiring for a self- motivated and pro-active procurement professional to join their established team. This exciting and rewarding role will require a strategic approach from the successful applicant who will also need to possess excellent analytical skills, be a team player and have strong negotiation, communication skills and ideally hold a CIPS qualification or is working towards one.   

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic procurement, including sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers, developing the preferred supplier programme & spend analysis.  

  • Supporting ethical and sustainable procurement ensuring social values, supplier diversity is always adhered too.

  • Leading the procurement tendering and mobilisation activities.

  • Managing the contract register, supplier directory, drafting contracts    

  • Managing and ensuring communication of SCM best practice to the wider business.

  • Keeping abreast of best practice and regulations within the industry.

  • Maintaining existing templates, workflows, and user profiles.
