Our client is a quality national provider of facilities and security management – they have retained our services to resource a Bid Manager on a FTC or daily rate to join their busy and expanding team due to additional workload. This opportunity calls for a passionate, collaborative professional with a positive outlook with excellent communication with writing, editing, and project management skills.
You do not need industry knowledge, the key aspect of this role is the ability to manage the bid process whilst writing compelling content. This is a company that is heavily investing in its bids and tenders function and is developing a team that is delivering state-of-the-art bid solutions in a fun and driven environment. This opportunity is available due to increased work load.

The ideal candidate for this position will contribute by bringing tender structure and organisation and will enjoy working alongside a friendly and supportive team of professionals. They will gain satisfaction from writing in a clear, creative, and articulate manner and will promote cooperation within the team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and accurate in their approach to work, paying great attention to detail whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
It’s a given that you know the bid function and the processes that help manage a tenders progression so any Shipley or APMP qualifications would be desirable but are not essential so please do not let this deter you from applying.
You will be a natural multitasker whilst creating high-end results + demonstrate in an interview the experience (or the potential) to manage a small team of creative bid writers and designers.
Responsibilities will also include:
Preparing and reviewing all commercial aspects of the bids
Form relationships with customers to develop a clear understanding of their requirements
Pre-bid research + capture planning + managing the production of pre-qualification documentation.
Ensure consistency of approach across the multi-function team
Matrix Management of internal resources
Project manage the day-to-day bid effort, including governance, solution development, and bid production, ensuring adherence to customer schedule and target costs.
