An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Bid Writer to join a growing and highly respected facilities management provider, supporting the delivery of high-quality bids and tender submissions across a diverse portfolio of clients.
Working within a collaborative and supportive bid team, you will play a key role in producing compelling, client-focused proposals that win new business and strengthen long-term client partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer who enjoys shaping persuasive content and working closely with operational and commercial teams.

The Role
As Bid Writer, you will take responsibility for producing engaging, compliant, and high-quality bid responses for a range of FM services. Working closely with business development, operations, and subject matter experts, you will translate technical service solutions into clear and persuasive proposals that align with client evaluation criteria.
Key responsibilities include:
Writing clear, compelling, and compliant tender responses, PQQs, SQs, and proposals
Interpreting tender documentation and aligning responses with client requirements and scoring matrices
Developing win themes, value propositions, and client-focused messaging
Collaborating with operational, HR, finance, and commercial teams to gather information for submissions
Managing bid timelines and ensuring deadlines are met
Maintaining and developing the bid content library and case studies
Supporting the presentation and formatting of submissions, including visual enhancements where appropriate
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the bid process

About You
We are looking for a motivated Bid Writer who combines excellent writing ability with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
You will likely have experience within facilities management, support services, or a service-led environment, and enjoy working in a collaborative bid environment.
Key requirements include:
Proven experience writing successful bids, tenders, and proposals
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Understanding of public and private sector procurement processes
Strong collaboration skills with operational and commercial stakeholders
Experience within facilities management, cleaning, security, or related sectors is advantageous
Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and bid management platforms
