We are delighted to be working with our client to hire a exceptional, technically competent Building Manager for one of Birmingham’s most well-known commercial locations. Leading a small site-based facilities team managing operations at a 200,000 + sft multi tenanted commercial office building.
The ideal candidate
The Building Manager role requires a willingness to go that extra mile for tenants and visitors delivering a full range of facilities services as well as providing a programme of events for tenants who occupy under a range of different leases, some of which have full-service delivery so you must understand customer service excellence.
A comprehensive knowledge of managing tenanted commercial buildings and ensuring full compliance with commercial buildings regulations is required as is the ability to always maintain and develop strong customer relationships along with facilities services providers.
The role holder be required to be financially astute, be able to effectively own and manage a budget and ensure fiscal responsibility is constantly maintained.
Strong leadership skills are required as is the ability to ensure effective teamworking and motivating staff.
