A national and growing (£70m) provider of specialist cleaning services is seeking an contract cleaning sales professional to proactively identify, develop and secure new national business within targeted sectors and values in the UK market.

This is a national role so the candidate so travel will be part of the role. Based mainly in the field and at home: however location will need to be south of Milton Keynes to allow fortnightly regional office visits (either Herts or Berkshire)
This company will support you with resources and time to build that pipeline: they have a long-term sales strategy in which a polished knowledgeable sales professional will thrive.
The main focus of the role will be business development and the conversion of existing national opportunities.
This is a rare opportunity within a growing, professional, structured + strategic organization that has the capacity to fulfil opportunities you will bring. You will report to a Sales Director and supported by a busy SEO and social media resource.

Salary to £51K + unlimited commission: 1st year OTE £80K

What are they asking for?
You will be an experienced + passionate developer of relationships who can develop cleaning solutions for clients that represent value rather than price. You will be able to write and cost solutions and react to quick turnaround of projects be able to manage a number of projects at any one time
You will have contract cleaning business development experience. This means that you will be able to strategically focus on relevant vertical markets, identify decision makers and develop opportunities. You will be supported by an SEO/Social media function, but you will guide them to relevant contacts within your dedicated sectors. (Commercial + Education)
Comfortable winning contract cleaning opportunities from £250K + you will be self motivated and be able to demonstrate a can do attitude. A target of £2m will not trouble you.
At interview you will demonstrate your eagerness to progress and a desire to invest time in training and develop new ways of doing business development
Your previous experience will mean you will know what a relevant lead looks like, you will establish rapport quickly and have the technical background to measure + cost opportunities. You can spot quickly what a client wants and be able to solution sell what a client needs.
Responsibilities:
Identify national and local contract cleaning opportunities and execute strategy
Generate growth by keen networking and conversion of opportunities
Lead negotiation of all sales opportunities
Retain strong understanding of current operation, competitor position and market trends
Develop and convert a sales pipeline that ensures sales targets are
