Our client, a rapidly growing and quality provider of security services including manned guarding is looking for a Senior Bid Writer to join their busy team (this is a hybrid role - 1 or 2 days in the office).
This position will be responsible to elevating the quality of bids allowing the company to pitch for bigger and more complicated opportunities. This position calls for a passionate, collaborative professional with a positive outlook, excellent communication, writing and editing, skills.

What are they asking for?
You will be a proven bid writer who can produce “best in class” documents. You will know what an excellent Executive Summary looks like and have an ability to turn sometimes complicated solutions into compelling text.
A background in a relevant people services industry such as security, facilities management, cleaning, recruitment, construction or catering is required.
You will have experience in/a desire to developing the bid function with an ability to help improve the quality and content of proposals by heading up “big ticket” “trophy asset” bids with values of £1/2m + whilst also helping upskill the existing team. Your ability to decipher and understand the subtleties of bid questions will allow you to add a sophistication to their approach.
Any Shipley/APMP experience will be useful the quality of your writing is key.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure the clarity, compliance, and integrity of all proposal documents; this role serves as a key liaison coordinating all internal work streams to finalise proposal responses including tracking and reviewing all proposal content with cross-functional business teams
Develop strategic messaging, win themes, strategies and creative design approaches
Attend in-person prep sessions as needed/requested by sales leads and pursuit teams
Introduce process improvements and best practices related to business development and bid management; champion efforts to ensure all deliverables are aligned with the firm’s brand
