This is a national home based role- requiring candidate to be based in England- (anywhere south of Newcastle)
Part of a global group- our client is one of the fastest growing suppliers of security solutions in the UK. Due to exponential growth their Security Systems division needs to appoint a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to support and advise the BD and Account Management teams to identify client’s technical requirements, recommend the suitable solutions, produce and confirm BOQ, and approve technical configurations and system solutions.

We are seeking an individual with a strong technical background in security systems pre-sales who has a broad range of knowledge across CCTV, Access Control and Intruder. You will be confident in liaising with clients and all levels and be able to help produce credible technical solutions to client needs.

What are they asking for
You will need a background in security systems installation and project management which includes recent pre-sales and technical support experience in the security industry.
At interview you will be able to point t experience working with large scale projects and multi-site projects/solutions and strong product knowledge related to access control, CCTV, Alarm, Intercom, Turnstile/Gate control and other security related system and products.
It would be useful if you had Experience with global security systems such as Lenel/S2, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, Ccure, Pro-Watch, etc along with IT and networking technologies is a clear advantage.
Other key priorities for this role are to work closely with the Sales teams building relationships and trust with clients to help expand name recognition and work to create long term value. This will include drafting, producing and presenting solutions, detailed BOQ, proposals, and quotations.
As part of the above you will attend client meetings to provide technical expertise as well as attending exhibitions and events providing technical advice and answering client technical queries.
