Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a track record of securing new business in the facilities or property services sector? This is your opportunity to join a high-performing team in a profitable, fast-growing business delivering critical outdoor facilities management services nationwide.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and winning new client contracts across multiple sectors — including facilities and property management, haulage, healthcare, and leisure.
This is a new business-focused sales role. You’ll be responsible for sourcing leads, managing the sales process end-to-end, and converting opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, approach, and convert new business opportunities
Develop and execute sales plans to exceed revenue targets
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors, especially in facilities management
Prepare compelling proposals, present solutions, and negotiate contracts
Collaborate internally to ensure smooth onboarding and mobilisation
Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and competitor activity within the facilities and sales sectors
What We’re Looking For
Proven success in B2B sales – ideally within FM, soft services, civils, or outdoor maintenance
Experience selling to property managers, FM providers, NHS, or transport/logistics clients
Confident in identifying and managing long sales cycles with commercial rigor
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills essential to business development success in facilities-related industries
Why Join?
You’ll be part of a stable and commercially smart business with a strong reputation and clear growth plans. With an 8-figure EBITDA and a high-tenure team, the environment balances ambition with realism — ideal for sales and business development professionals who want to be backed but not micromanaged.
Company Benefits
£4,200 car allowance + 45p mileage (worth ~£3K+ extra with high travel)
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
GP24, EAP, and life assurance
Employee discounts and cashback benefits
Hybrid working flexibility
