Our client is a market leader in the provision of security and maintenance services to empty properties. (mainly via an innovative solution of protection by occupation: Property Guardians) They are now seeking a well organised Assistant Property Manager

In this role you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting and constantly-evolving property industry and occupancy management business. They are looking for an exceptionally well organised Assistant Property Manager with experience in property to provide administrative support to the property management team. The successful candidate will be rigorous in their attention to detail and have experience working within property as either a negotiator or administrator.

What are they asking for?

You will be able to demonstrate a passion for working in the property market via previous experience/studies and will be rigorous in your attention to detail.

You must have a full driving licence with good written and verbal communication skills- with the abil-ity quickly establish relationships at all levels. 

Essential also is being comfortable with working in a busy, target driven environment. You will also be be motivated and driven to grow with this fast evolving company. 

Any knowledge of dealing with property maintenance issues, co-ordinating contractors, HMOs, Fire Risk Assessments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities will include:

Assist the Property Account Manager with all administrative aspects involved in the running of the allocated property portfolio.

Control payment of supplier invoices and service charges.

Ensure supplier and property maintenance costs are recharged to the customer when appropriate.

Utility management - Liaising with utility companies and contractors.

Ensure documents are correctly saved to our internal system.

Adhere to compliance procedures and conduct required checklists.

Support the Property Account Manager in sending out works orders, quotations, investigating enquir-ies and speaking to contractors.
