Job Description

The Vacancy:

We are recruiting for a security officer to join an existing team at a multi tenanted building located near Tottenham Court Road, London for an established security provider who has a large portfolio of corporate clients throughout Central London.

The role requires a proactive security professional who is able to maintain high levels of standards in regard to performance, appearance and discipline.

You will be working in the building lobby, loading bay and duties will include patrols, access control and CCTV monitoring.

To be considered candidates must:

  • Previous experience within a security environment

  • Proactive approach to customer service

  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Computer literacy

  • Valid SIA Licence

  • Can demonstrate a full 5-year work history for vetting purposes.

What are they offering?

  • Competitive salary in the region up to £10.35 / Hour

  • Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off

Responsibilities:

  • As per the Assignment Instructions.

  • To report to the Security Supervisor/Security Contract Manager.

  • Ensure that all procedures and duties are completed to the set standards.

  • Control access of all people to the building and its private areas.

  • To maintain the access control, CCTV, fire alarm and lift systems and report and address any faults.

  • To carry out any other reasonable request made by the Security Contract Manager / Provider and/or the Client.

  • Provide First Aid assistance when required, following First Aid training supplied.

  • To be professional when answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries.

  • To ensure that incidents are dealt with and followed as per the Incident procedure sheets.

  • To ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to all tenants, guests and visitors.
